Why Grand River?
Grand River Academy provides Mesa County Valley School District 51 students, Kindergarten through 12th grades, the chance to learn in a way that is right for them.   Grand River students will be supported by local certified teachers and staff whose focus is on each child’s potential through an individualized learning plan that evolves as the child grows.

The blended school model allows students to take part in an online/classroom learning environment—thus allowing students time to work with their peers one day/week in hands on activities with teacher guidance in core content classes, as well as working online at home.

The excitement of joining a community of connected learners with a wide range of extra curricular clubs, fun/learning activities and other opportunities for socialization.

Opportunities to tryout for/participate in District 51 sports and take cross-over courses at the student's neighborhood school.
